Family Advent Adventure

 

Adults and children of all ages are invited to prepare for the coming of our Lord Jesus and celebrate His birth in a four-week program, “Family Advent Adventure,” hosted by Zion Lutheran Church, Mauch Chunk and Greenwood Sts., Tamaqua.

Participants will hear the Christmas story as told in the Gospels, decorate a tree, do crafts and learn about some favorite Christmas carols — so be prepared to sing.

Time: 8:30 a.m. 9:20 a.m. on the following Sundays – Nov. 27, Dec. 3, Dec.11 and Dec. 18.

On the evening of Dec. 18, participants will be going Christmas caroling then gather at the church for hot chocolate and cookies.

Come and Join Us for Sunday Cool!

Make your Sunday cool and gather with us to learn about Jesus’ parables and miracles as told in the Gospels.  Learn how Jesus wants us to live our lives and all that He does for us.  Grow in Christ through Bible stories, songs, crafts, drama and games.  Children of all ages are welcome.

Time:  8:30 – 9:20 am

Place: Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church – Fellowship Hall

Dates:  There will be 2 sessions, each lasting 8 Sundays.   Registration forms are available in the gathering room or on Rally Day.
